This is one of my favourite examples of how a billboard can be more than just a billboard.
Here’s how it works:
Children play on a merry-go-round type device that is connected to a well.
As the children play the device pumps water from the well.
The billboards connected to it help fund the cost. As a requirement two sides of the billboard are ads focused on social awareness such as getting tested for HIV.
That’s all there is to it. Simple. Effective.
